Care Instructions
All We Might Be Tiny products are purposefully designed to withstand wear and tear of everyday life (+ beyond), so you don’t have to worry about them falling apart after just a few uses! We also love the fact that they can be shared between siblings and for generations to come – even with the roughest of toddlers (+ we know how wild they can be).
We do however recommend the following care instructions because even the toughest of cookies need a little TLC sometimes:
Cleaning
- Wash before first use.
- Clean with mild, warm, soapy water (or detergent) after each use and rinse thoroughly; or place in the dishwasher.
- Avoid contact with sharp knives, as well as abrasive sponges, because they can damage the product.
- Certain foods, life tomato-based sauces or brightly coloured juices, can stain silicone products. To prevent long-term stains, clean promptly after use. If pesky stains don’t want to go away: mix a small amount of baking soda with warm water to create a paste, apply it to the stained area, and let it sit for a few hours before rinsing it off. Direct sunlight can also help lift any discolouration from silicone.
Heating
- All WMBT silicone products are 100% safe in the microwave, oven and airfryer up to 230°C.
- Do not put stainless steel components in the microwave, oven or airfryer.
- Do not put re-usable plastic sticks in the microwave, oven or airfryer.
Freezing
- All WMBT silicone products are 100% safe in the freezer up to -40°C, but it is important that the product is completely dry before doing so.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes by allowing the product to cool down before placing it in the freezer.
- To prevent freezer burn, it is recommended that frozen foods or liquids be transferred to an air-tight container or freezer bag and used within 3 months to ensure the best quality.
Storage
- Store all WMBT products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight (or heat source) to prevent damage.
- Silicone is a non-porous material that does not absorb smells, but plastic products can absorb smells from other foods and liquids stored in them. Storing silicone products alongside plastic products can result in the silicone product taking on an unpleasant odour. It is therefore recommended to avoid storing silicone products with plastic.
Safety Warnings
- Always use WMBT products with adult supervision.
- Avoid sharp knives with silicone products.
- Before use, inspect the product and at the first sign of damage or weakness, consciously dispose of them.
- Heating in a microwave may produce localised high temperatures, so always stir the heated food to ensure even heat distribution. Test the food temperature before serving, because hot food can cause burns.
- Keep all WMBT components not in use, out of reach of children.
